Terms And Conditions
Booking terms and conditions
For large bookings 10 or more, especially on a weekend we have certain terms and conditions of booking. First - We take a refundable deposit of £50 for bookings of 10-20 people and £100 for 20-40 people. If the numbers are more than 40 – we take an agreed amount of deposit as per arrangements with the customer. We will be in touch with you to collect a deposit for confirmation of booking. Deposit can be paid over the phone with a card or via bank transfer to our company bank account or in person by appointment at the restaurant by card or cash. Once you confirm the booking with a deposit, our terms of booking and cancellation will be emailed to you, so you are clear to meet these requirements for a deposit refund. Once you pay the deposit, you can still call to re-confirm numbers up to 48 hours prior to your booking date. Once the numbers are finalised 48 hours prior, the said number should turn up on the day for the deposit to be refunded.
Second – For parties of 10 or more, especially on a weekend we serve only our group menus (which is available for you to view on our website). Customers will allergies and dietary requirements can discuss with us on the day and we can arrange their specific meal requirements. Children aged 11 and under do not have to select from our group menus as we have a separate kid’s menu available.
By paying a deposit to confirm with Yum Yum Thai Restaurant, you are bound to the following terms and conditions of booking:
-
For group parties of 10 people or more we recommend a group menu service. This service is designed to provide our customers with some of the best dishes of the house and is for ease of service.
-
We reserve the right to arrange, plan, alter or change our service offerings on an individual group booking basis with the full agreement with the inquiring customer.
-
If a group is booked for a group menu service it is the responsibility of the person booking to inform all their guests the agreed service prior to arriving for their meal.
-
Each table on a Friday or Saturday has a time limit of 2hrs and 30 minutes per sitting. So if you book for a certain time, everyone in the party has to arrive within 15 minutes of the booking time – any later and we reserve the right to rebooked the table for waiting customers.
-
Whatever number you book for – on the day of your booking 2 or 3 not turning up is ok, any less and you will lose your deposit unless you have informed us at least 48 hours prior to your booking. For example, if you book for 15 at least 12 should turn up, any less and you will lose your deposit. Provided the said numbers turn up, we will refund your deposit back in full at the end of your booking.
-
On the day of your booking, please inform the waiter serving you about the deposit paid before the final bill arrives and give them an instruction on how you wish to have your deposit returned – to be deducted from the bill or back to the card the deposit was paid with.
-
For customers paying a deposit with card, the card holder should be present on the day of the booking with an ID, so that we know we are refunding the deposit back to the same person – this is compulsory for security reasons.
-
Deposits paid with card can be refunded back to the same card or deducted from the final bill, but deposits paid with cash or via bank transfer can only be deducted from the final bill on the day of your booking.
